Jaguar XJS door will not open?

I have a 1990 XJS, the right passenger door does not open. Electronic locks went crazy one day, completely alone, click click click … So when I removed the door panel to get to the bars they go to lock … nothing happens. The key will not open the door, and I can not get it open through the door panel. Any suggestions? Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks, Ron ~

Whether a short block is bad. If I can not fix you may need to take to a shop for repair. To remove and replace all the time.
