What kind of water you're supposed to put in the windshield washer reservoir windshielf and how much is put on?

To me they just see a white tube. If I start I will not know when to stop pouring

Any supermarket, Wal-Mart or auto parts store has gallon jugs Window Washer fluid for cars. Is a liquid usually blue or green. Do not want to use tap water. Is poured in until the level reaches the filler neck.
