Is $800 enough money to live on for a month?
Im thinking of buying a fairly new car. I really need a more dependeble car for work. I fell in love with this ’04 model car; leather, moon roof, sport package, tinted windows 27k miles and factory warnty… But purchasing this car will only leave me with a little over $800 to live on per month. I am single with no kids. Is this enough?
Note: I do have a small side business but my new career + party habbits have recently brought its productivity to a halt.
Note2: I am expecting a healthy raise this June.
I guess I need to rephrase the question. nobody fully understood me. I have roughly $800 remaining per month AFTER I pay all my bills including the insurance and the payment on the new car.
Whew, my rent is $375 more than that… so I would say no.
But, if you have $800 after all of your bills are paid: vehicle, insurance, any credit cards, rent or mortgage, electric, etc., then you’ll be fine. It certainly doesn’t take $800 for fun and groceries for a month.
