looking for a family car with great fuel economy exceptional?

My wife and I are again looking for another vehicle, driving an S4 and is a class C Benz, two of which have not really taken into account our needs as a family (two children). We are looking for either an SUV or station wagon that comfortably can go on a long trip in which the means of GPS navigation, so wide, the rear seat entertainment to keep the child is calm, and a spacious trunk. Preferably with good fuel economy too, I know it's hard to find these days, but I want to be dealing with 12 MPG. Our budget is $ 50,000. Some cars that interest us are – Audi A6 Avant – Porsche Cayenne – Volkswagen Touareg – BMW X5 – Acura MDX any suggestions? Thanks

Hello ……. seem to prefer and most expensive foreign cars too. The VW Touareg is a great car, but even with the small 8, do not think the gas mileage would be nice. The Porsche is cute but a little small. You may want to consider a minivan, I like the Toyota version of me, the Sienna. Good for gas and also quite large. A well-equipped I think 30 years is low, and reliability and resale is above average. Not generally get good mpg SUV, its too big or square, or even heavy. I have a Nissan Pathfinder now, big trucks, love the choice of 4 wheels, but his forte, and the 6 cylinder, automatic, it only gets 17 mpg, and that's a small SUV comparison with some of today's vehicles. I know that the truck emits the "soccer mom" image, but the Sienna grow on you. And after some years of driving comfortable, with plenty of room for kids and cargo, and decent miles per gallon of gas ……… your wallet will be happy ………. Good Luck!
