Is there another name for a "torsion bar"?
I keep looking at all the different web pages that have "spotters of the parties "but" torsion bar "is never in his lists of items and I was wondering if there is a different search term I could use, as "suspension" or "knuckle" … I do not know what these things are or do … Help! Please! On the other hand, if I could point to a place where I can find the specific part I need to be Excellent Great! I need a driver's side torsion bar 41 inches for a '95 Chevy Astro Van AWD. I do not want a 36 "bar w / an extension, because I fear that if I put that I have my original and still 41 inches on the side of my companion, will be some trouble.
Torsion bars are like springs, except that they are the bars that 'spin'. Stick with an exact replacement (length, thickness, etc..) Your deposit Local Scrap should be able to get one.
