Band pass box, no cones, worse performance?

If you are looking for Q-Logic 112.3 in google images my box is the first photo, is one of 12 "one with a piece of fiberglass that covers the opening. I bought a larger box used Q-Logic bandpass yesterday. The guy pulled the "cones" in the box to fit in its trunk, because the lip of the cones produced a couble inches. Does this affect the sound much at all and if so in what way?

Prefabricated boxes band-pass are not known for sound quality even in its normal state. Most are for fashion only a rookie and that's basically how sell. I'm not even sure what they call a box with a port in the rear chamber and sealed at the front. In general, if only one house has ported is the front. band-pass boxes have to be designed specifically for a particular driver, to achieve a reasonable degree of sound quality. Each chamber has to be a certain volume and size of the ports are also essential. These dimensions can vary widely depending on the speaker to be used. So the picture in its complete state is not large. If you are saying that the port tubes are not in your box, then it is even worse. Will it make noise? Of course. Will it sound good? Not a chance.
