Trunk Glove

I have a 2000 Mustang, which will not start unless you press the trunk release button in the glove compartment. What's wrong?

Sometimes usually closes unless you do the same. Even I've turned off the key and led him out of the ignition and the car was still running until you press the button trunk release!

If you have an "aftermarket" alarm or remote control lock installed try disabling the system and see if that helps. There is no possible way that this can be a problem with the OEM wiring system ..
