lost car key! spare in a spare petrol filler cap, how do i get it out?

the car is a citreon saxo, to make it clear the key has been lost and the filler cap is already on the car, i have another filler cap which the key is stuck in, how do i get this one out as i cant put it in the car?
the key is inside the spare filler cap, there is a filler cap on the car already
