how do i get the road name i am traveling on in the gps screen in a benz e-350 06?

i have a 2004 cd for my gps….
i mean the map screen..not gps mode..map mode
you know the on where u don’t get directions but it just shows u where u are..that part….it show like gas stations and everything…..that is the map mode
it is a navteq cd
