can i use a windshield repair kit on my home window?

I have a small bullseye in a large home window (a rock hit it). I know that windshield repair kits work on my car, how bout my home window. seems like glass is glass and it would work fine?

You can try it. Windshields don’t flex like window glass and your repair may not hold long.

You will need to put a strip of packaging tape on one side so the suction cup can make a vacuum and hold to the other side of the glass and keep glue from oozing down the backside. You will need to carefully scrape the excess off both sides after removing the tape.
