Porsche 928 S4/ Which is the best yr for this car?

Im currently trying to buy one, but checking which yr had a better performance? I currently own a SS Camaro 68, Pontiac TransAM 80 and will LOVE to add this to my classic collection.
Definitely. First thing I do is to check the condition of the car and parts availabilty

I don’t know the answer really, but would just comment that considering how few were made, I would worry more about condition than year. I doubt there is that much difference between years.
However, I have heard that the 1991 GTS version was easier to get parts for, and is the same as the current V8 production and fuel injection.
(No personal experience however.)
