What’s the difference between a Hercules DJ Control and a regular double-cd player set?

So I want to buy a reliable and good Dj-gear, but I haven’t figured out the difference between getting
an Hercules as opposed to a double Pioneer cdj200. What is the difference between each?

Also, could anyone recommend a professional, and yet economical Dj set??

Ok my friend,

Hercules ( is a DJ Console )

-not very expensive
-easy to use ( connect to PC )
-you need additional software like Traktor or other
-you dont need to carry the whole DJ equipment like CD s Mixer and players
just Laptop and Console
-you can mix easier and dont have to sync the track every minute

Pioneer CDJ 200 are ( Regular CD players for DJs)

-a bit more expensive
-good for experienced DJ s
-if you have money to afford traktor scratch or serato then you can use them as an external plalyers
connected to your mac/pc just as the console
-feeling of mixing is much better on real players or even vinyl than on DJ console
( even if you practicly do the same thing ..it doesnt feel the same)

So in conclusion the console is much cheaper and does the job well

I personally use Behringer BCD 3000 with macbook and traktor pro
(Price ~ 200 Eur or so – for Behringer )

I think the players are more expensive and you also need a mixer
