how many quarts of oil does a 1996 VW Passat GLX VR6 2.8 take?
Let's start by assuming that the I lost my user manual. I changed the oil and filter with 5 rooms and dumped about half a quart in the filter itself before putting it back. It has a very low reading on the dipstick. Not sure if you need something more than 6 quarts or not. Thanks! I am looking for an exact capacity, ie "5.3q" or something like that.
buy 5 or 6 adding four crank to check for leaks Check oil level add more if needed at a time and I can not lose what's left can be saved for the next time if I change my oil and it reads low, add more easy fix that you always check wheel drive replacing pull stick clean clean check again
