Pano Roof

Any suggestions on a really upscale resturant in Atlanta?

I recently went to Nikoli’s Roof , WOW expensive!! And not really that great! I was so dissapointed !!Been to Pano and Pauls, been to 103 West, I am ready to try something else out……I have moved back to the area after being away 7 yrs. My Husband and I like to really go “All Out” every once in a while. Dress up somewhere, where a coat and tie is mandatory! We dressed up at Nikoli’s and saw other people there in golf shirts and jeans!! We don’t mind spending a fair amount of $$ as long as the ambience, and quality of food is good. We want to be treated like “royalty” ! Even if we’re not! We like to splurge a few times a year! Who doesn’t??!

If you want to really go “all out” and lay down some serious cash, go to “Seeger’s”. It’s an experience. The setting is very intimate, the service is flawless, and the food is amazing. Very “haute” cuisine. Seeger is a world renowned chef. I’ve been to really upscale restaurants in N.Y. and Seeger’s is still the best. Expect to spend at least $500. And you will find NO ONE in this place not in a suit and tie, or “dressed for dinner.”
Oh, and “Aunt Pittypat’s” is good (REALLY good, definitely go), but it’s not what you’re looking for. It’s definitely a “jeans and polo shirt” kinda place.
“Bluepoint” is awesome, (GREAT sushi) but it just isn’t the same…the service is lack-luster. You won’t get the “royalty” treatment there.
Don’t go to Bones. It’s completely unmemorable.
“Chops” and “Nava” are good, but again, not the same.
(I guess I’m really trying to convince you to go to Seeger’s! You won’t regret it…and no, I don’t work for them or anything! lol.)
