Panel Cups

How do I pop The fan switch out of the dash on a 1995 Subaru Legacy wagon ? I can’t remove the panel ?

I have tried to pry on it, removed the cup tray holder but the small panel will not budge
Obviously I am not a mechanic, I have removed the cup tray and I still can’t get the panel off and I do not comprehend the terminology but thanks anyway what kind of a mechanic do I take it to ?

Looks like, from teh pictures on Alldata , that the climate control head needs to come out, and then remove it from the back of it.
Move the tenmp control switch to full cold, and remove the cable under the dash that moves whn you slide the temp control lever.
Remove the cup holder, then the two screws to reove the center bezel.
remove the 4 screws holding the control head in place, disconnect the electrical, and pull the head. Flip it over, remove the blower switch. And a word of warning-usually the switches burn up because the blowert motor is drawing too many amps and needs replaced.
