Service Traction System?

I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan. (It is very similar to a Chevy or a Pontiac risk Montana) The message center in the dashboard lights sometimes and says, "Service Traction System" and then comes a different light on that says "pull out." Sometimes this happens when you first start it, sometimes it happens while your driving down the road, and sometimes never on. Any idea what might cause this and how I could go to fix this?

Yes reptuable shop will have to check this one, which is connected to a scan tool and that they point in the direction of the problem. Is your ABS light on too? These systems usually rely on each other. This type of problem is usually over the heads of the most people.
