Mono Subwoofer
You can use a mono-amp 400watt subwoofer 1200watt Ruin?
I had a 400-watt amplifier connected to two 300-watt subwoofers, but yesterday I bought a box containing two sub 1200watt Sony Xplod subwoofers for now until i get the money, Im going to use that 400watt amp to power just one of the sony 1200watt sub. I have it connected now and sounds great! just want to know whether to disable or damage the sub or what?
It is difficult to answer accurately without knowing the real power teams, the 1200 watt subwoofers reviews on more marketing than reality, and are useless for matching with a power amplifier. The rating 400 watt amp may or may not also be a useful classification. Generally speaking, if it sounds good, then you probably do not have to worry.
