what modifications have to do to get a lift of 3 or 4 in my ford ranger?

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger 4WD 4.0 V6. I want to raise. I have a kit body on the front bumper and do not want removed. i need not to what modifications should be made to add an elevator. I want a lift body. and what is the cheapest and safest and best way yet to go. Please do not thank me!

If you go with a body lift 3 or 4 inches, will have to extend the steering column, all the links of the day, and raise the cap to match. Because you are not using a suspension lift, not have to worry about the angles of shaft and brake lines, or differential. Larger tires, should not be a problem with 4.0. However, if you change the gear ratio, make sure front and rear, at the same time.
