Low Miles

Should I get a car with low miles(85000)+body damage or 127000 miles+nice body?

The low miles one is higher priced at $4k and has a 500 dollar dent and slight interior damage-95 v6 camaro. The other car is at a dealer for $3500-96 v6 camaro.

Lower miles and better mechanical condition are most important. An ugly car can be made pretty over time while you drive it but a pretty car stuck in your driveway doesn’t do much good. 127000 miles on a 96 chevy means some work is coming or has recently happened. Both vehicles are in need of complete tune-ups has one already had it? 100,000 miles is the life span on the water pumps if the high mileage one hasn’t been replaced it’s on borrowed time but the low mileage one will need it soon. More miles mean less AC life. etc etc etc. I guess the answer is evaluate the drivetrain first. Interior and body damage won’t stop your car. If the both look equal mechanically I would buy the 85k.
