Lemans Tempest
What is the major difference between a 69 GTO front bumper and a 69 Lemans/Tempest front bumper?
My GTO is a real one 242——-Vin. the man I have building it has but what looks like a Lemans/Tempest front bumper on it. By the Pictures I have seen on the internet its not right. My questions is was there an option for a different style bumper for the 69 GTO.
GTO’s had the plastic (Endura) bumper, unless it had the “Endura Delete” option, in which case it would have a chrome-plated metal bumper from the Pontiac Le Mans/Tempest.
Pull the back of the back seat out, and if you’re lucky, you might find a build sheet tucked behind the springs.
