My 92 Jaguar XJS V12 works well for a while (most of the day) but then starts to fail and jobs?

When does it misfires on all cylinders and the only way to get it to run well again is to let it cool completely (overnight). It was suggested that perhaps a "module" or "coil". I was wondering what you think.

Cleaning the throttle body and idle system first. Use the rubber spray output. Check the temperature sensor wires are not broken engine or burned. Also, check your fuel pressure regulator is not bad. If you eliminate the source of vacuum and gas jets out, is bad! The use of Chevron Techron FI cleaner in the tank. Some of these engines have crank sensors they get temperamental when heated.
