how do you open the hood to a 92 Chevy Cavalier?

My grandmother bought me a old beat up 92 cavalier as a car. I don’t know how to open the hood. It seems to be missing the latch pop lever on the inside of the car. Does this car come with one or do I have to reach up under the car an try to find the actual lock? any help would be great. Im really ready to get started trying to work on my project car.

Some did have it on the floor by drivers seat inside door. Most had inside door on bottom of dash, either left of the steering wheel or under it.
