Chevy Avalanche or Cadillac Escalade EXT?

Im going to purchase one of these trucks soon i would like to know the pro’s and con’s of both.

~Good choice of cars~
~Let me give you an overview first.

~CHEVY AVALANCHE: this is a truck that shares the same chasis with the Escalade. To many, this car is considered a heavy duty work truck, yet capable of towing trailers, boats, etc. The ride quality is fairly smooth, although if cornering to fast, the driver and occupants will feel a binding sensation. This is because of the heavy-duty suspension used to stabilize the car. A draw back of the car is the fuel consumption. When compared to Japanese trucks: Toyota, or Honda, the Avalanche definitely consumes more gas. BUT, if compared with fellow American trucks: Dodge, Ford.etc, the Avalanche stands its ground well.

~CADILLAC ESCALADE EXT: now this is a truck with only two things in mind: Utility and Luxury. Ever since the launch of the Lincoln Navigator, Blackwood truck, Mark-truck, Cadillac quickly responded by launching the Escalade truck. As of expected from Cadillac, luxury comes standard. Therefore, the interior is lavish and plush with polished and glossy wood panels. The suspension is tweaked and modified to give the car a very soft and comfortable ride. Of course, the same problem is the fuel consumption. But if one is set on buying this car, then gas prices isn’t a big issue.

~The VERDICT? Make things simple and look at is this way, the Avalanche is a good heavy-duty work horse they will serve you well. But if you are up for something bolder, with comfort in mind, the Caddy is the ultimate choice for plush rides and opulent interior and exteriors. One last note, parts do break-down regularly, so regular maintenance is highly recommended.
