I would never quote Wiki for car facts, especially considering 1972 introduced a industry-wide change of horsepower ratings from gross to net. I know the top 351 for the Mustang in 1972 was the 351HO rated at 275 hp, although the more popular 351 Cleveland was rated at 266.

In fact, if you look at the Wiki page, you’ll see that in 1972 they mention the compression change and hp rating change so it most certainly wasn’t 330 hp.
