"I can convert my 04 Denali AWD to 4WD?

I have Denali AWD April 1, bought used with 48k now 56k. I was listening to the noise coming from the wheel front, it was discovered that he was in the ring and pinion bearings. I had already changed the axes of a week before trying to cure the problem but now its getting expensive. so I ordered the OEM gear oil, purple maxx gear and had a friend install the parts. the noise was from 6.5 out of 10 at 01.02, 10. i really only hear the noise at 45 mph and up usually on the highway. its driving me crazy. I can make a 4WD as the Z 71, when he has the awd/4hi/4low/2wd optional? that would solve the noise problem once and for all, or am I beating a dead horse? please help
