How do I change the ignition cylinder in a 1997 camaro?
The actual part where I put the key in. Is it hard? Will it take long? My car doesn’t start unless I give the perfect amount of pressure with my key (which can take MANY tries.)
I’m so mad at my car.
How do I do this?
(By the way it’s an automatic, V6, 3.8)

but the switch may just be out of adjustment.
anything past taking off the steering wheel requires special tools unless you want to fight it. when disassembling the column, take note to the orientation and location of every piece. some auto parts stores rent tools for free with a deposit.
