How does changing my car's tail light and light from light up.mitsubishi EX Lancer 2lt engine?

hi all, anyone can help me, I have a Mitsubishi Lancer EX in Singapore, and I changed my OEM taillight LED light, and of course the engine light indicate up.and my cruise control does not work. Difficult to understand, but I think LEDs have insufficient power and causing light to light to turn on the console? I think it needs a ballast resistopr super-bright LED
