Why is my A/C coming out cold on one side and warm on the other (Cadillac)?

I have a 2001 Cadillac Seville STS. I replaced the A/C compressor about a year ago so I know that is good. When I crank up the A/C there are 2 vents on the center of the dash. The right side vent blows cold, but the right side is almost warm air. And the vents are side by side. The car has dual climate control. Do I need to recharge the system? Is there a possibility the cabin air filter may need to be changed (I have never changed the cabin filter)? Please only respond if you are knowledgeable on this subject. If you are just guessing, move on to someone elses question….

I AM just guessing, but its an educated guess. If it’s dual climate control, then it has dual blend door motors so that the driver can have custom temp as well as the passenger. I would think that you have a problem with one of the two blend door motors that’s not allowing one side to go completely to cold. Good luck!
