How do I keep my 57 Nomad on the ground?

I have a 1957 Chev. BelAir NOMAD Wagon, with a 383 Stroker, providing 493 H.P.. and would appreciate any ideas as to how to keep this machine ON THE GROUND>

I own a shop, a drag car & truck, and think this; First thing you may consider is getting the whole vehicle lower to the ground, use an air dam, and a spoiler on the back to help plant the vehicle. A total upgrade of the suspension, and some adjustable shocks and/or air bags will get it down to earth. Due to the way the front end catches air, and the rear end wants to float around, makes for a difficult challenge on these vehicles. The front end suspension makes them want to float, and push in curves on the road. They want to squat in the rear, and raise in the front, so drop the front, and get the rear end more stable is the solution. There are many companies such as Hotchkins that can direct you in the proper equipment to get a handle on the top heavy beast. Air bags is the best for these, as it gives you a wide range of adjustment where your weight displacment is concerned.
