Is it hard to replace a rear bumper on a silverado?

I have no experience working on cars, but it would be easy to replace a chrome rear bumper myself? T Is it just removing a few nuts and bolts?

Yes, for the most part is only a matter remove the screws and nuts. You will have some wires that go to the plate lights, and there may be some spots in question. The poster that said the screws are tight is right. They are tight for the good and usually have some rust on them too. A long piece of pipe wrench or a good quality impact likely needed. Have a friend on hand to help hold the bumper while taking the last couple of screws out, are heavy when they land on your head, abdomen or legs.
